About TreeBay
Why it exists
A lot of the trade's buying, selling and hiring happens in Facebook groups and by word of mouth. That works up to a point, but posts get buried, you can't filter by price or location, and a job advert or a course drops out of sight long before it's filled.
On TreeBay each kind of listing has the details that matter: make, model, year, hours and condition for machinery; pay and its period for jobs; dates and accreditation for courses. And it stays searchable by keyword, category, price and location.

What it costs
Listing is free under £1,000, and so is your first listing at £1,000 or more. After that, there's a one-off fee from £4.99 based on the price. Job adverts from £50, your first one free. TreeBay takes no commission when something sells. See pricing
How dealing works
You deal directly with the other person. Messages go through TreeBay, so you don't have to hand out your number to ask a question. TreeBay isn't part of the sale and doesn't hold any payment, so see kit working before you pay. If a listing looks wrong, tap Report this listing on it, or email the link to safety@treebay.uk. We'll look into it. Our staying safe page has the checks worth making before you pay or hand anything over.
